first and middle name change in a 2- yr conditional green card

hi im new here i am from the philippines and we have a different naming system there (there's a law regarding names: if you are single- your middle name automically is your mother's maiden name

if you get married- automatically your previous surname/last name becomes your middle name), yes i know its odd and all but my problem is now i am here in the U.S with a conditional 2 year green card. I got married, and my name is changed to my husband's surname, but i adopted the naming system here in the U.S:

say for example my philippine name is Reese Brianna T. Valdez,

after getting married my name should be Reese Brianna V. Cruz (Cruz- husband's last name) (Reese Brianna- first name)

however in my green card, i adopted the naming system here in the U.S

so my name is now like Reese B. Cruz. Thats because i dont know that i can have 2 first names here in the U.S. All my ID's driver license, ssn, working permit is under that name.

Now in my passport, they said that they cant change my name like in my greencard, they applied the Philippine naming system. I just want all my documents to be uniform and have the same name. Is there a way that I can change the name on my green card?

If not, will I have a problem if I'll just change the name on my ssn, work permit and driver's license to my original name? but my greencard still has the same name?

I dont know if it will be a big deal or not, since its just basically about first and middle names. I hope someone can help me.

When applying for AOS you should have written "Reese Brianna" in the first name box, "Valdez" in middle name" and "Cruz" in last name. Changing middle and last names isn't usually an issue (it is state dependant but most states don't have an issue).

You now have 2 options:

1. File an i-90 and pay the $400+ fee to change the card

2. Wait for ROC and change it for free.

There isn't an issue for you to have different documents for now, but you'll have to change all your US stuff in 2 years (come ROC when you change it).

So its up to you what you want to do.
