Got the email today, EAD has been approved and the card ordered. :dance:

I got the e-mail today as well EAD approved and on its way

Agreed. The only thing I would say for IP is there are more people in a similar situation to me there (H-1B -> Green Card) where as VJ is dominated by K-1s, which can bias things a bit sometimes.
