Ex-boyfriend trying to ruin my marriage

Hi guys!!!!!!

My situation is kinda complicated and it's all my fault((((((((((((

I'm married for about 2 years now. Got my 1st green card about a year ago.

My hubby left to another state for school. I was suppose to follow him but still didn't do it because of financial problems

Hubby lives with roommates, I do too. With one roommate. Here is the problem: I use to be in relationship with that guy looooooooooong time before I met my husband. We broke up, stayed friends. He didn't have place to live, so I (stupid) despite superstitions let him to stay in my house.

Now I finally got a chance to move to my hubby, but I got stalked by that roommate who is trying to ruin my marriage and promised me to report on my relationship as fraud. He doesn't have any evidence but the fact that I use to live with him under the same roof for particular period of time.

My question is what should we get ourselves prepared for? What investigation will be like?

File a restraining order, serve it on the man. If he contacts you again have him arrested. Repeat as necessary. If he calls immigration show them the restraining order and explain that while you were waiting to follw your husband he started to stalk you.

This will not be over quickly. You will not enjoy this.

The guys threats do not hold any water! What does he know about you and your immigration case? To report a case you must have the case details and more before the USCIS will listen...Do not panic, don't fall for his games, and do not give in to his requests.

But meanwhile, did you say...you kept him in your house while your hubby lived else where?

Topic has been moved to General Immigration Discussion forum from the AOS forum as the OP already has her green card, so the issue is not exactly an AOS matter

“...Isn't it splendid to think of all the things there are to find out about? It just makes me feel glad to be alive--it's such an interesting world. It wouldn't be half so interesting if we knew all about everything, would it? There'd be no scope for imagination then, would there?”

Although its been said and done....however, you have put your relationship out there in the open, and especially living with someone who you once had a relationship with???...I definately wouldn't have let my wife do that at all....thats wayyyy over the top. But I guess in the moment you felt that it was right to help him out.

Well...talk to him face to face, straight up, tell him that if he does it one more time, you'll go get a restraining order.

Good luck....and next time, I think it'd be best not to over-extend that whole "trust" factor
