Hello Everyone,

I searched the database to see if my question had been answered but I didn't see anything so I gotta ask:

1) My oath is in 2 days -- one of the questions is if I have traveled since the interview... which I have. Do I need to bring a copy of my itinerary or my Canadian passport to show them the dates and prove I was not out of the country for longer?

My ceremony is at the LA convention center with 6000 other people....

2) Apart from the obvious items to bring to the interview -- Green Card, completed form.... it also says "Any other immigration documents"..... but I don't know what those other documents are.....

thanks for your help!

I don't think they ask for any proof but you can be on the safe side and take your passport with you. The any other paperwork I guess is for people who have extra papers. Believe me they are not going to go through 6,000 people if they questions one by one. They just look at your paper and ID and thats that. So you don't have to take anything more than the papers and the GC that you have. The irony comes in when you throw your GC into a big trash bin for them to collect when it took you so long to get that thing lol  When I was naturalized I was laughing when I threw my GC into a big 50 gallon trash bin  And than you get your made in china U.S. Flag and watch some movies and hear a few speakers and swear in. Let me know if that made in china is changed to Made in U.S.A. cause they said they were.

Good luck girl! If you had travelled to another country which required a visitor's visa thehn you might have otehr paperwork - if you've only traveled back home to Canada you won;t have much prrof to show since they don;t stamp our passports or anything else, right?

PS - bring snacks! 6000 people sounds like it might take a while!

There's just a form where you just write down your trips outside the US since the interview. You don't need to show any proof at all, but they can question people that have been out a long time etc. Simple trips like you describe they won't bother with.

And yes as mentioned, the other paper work is for other types of immigration. You will just need your Green Card which they'll take from you and that's it...

I'm just a wanderer in the desert winds...
