The Title of my car is in my name but the insured person on the State Farm insurance card is my husband for both my car as well as his car (his car is in his name). Would this be a good evidence to submit to USCIS for I-751 (removal of conditions) filing?

My husband and I were thinking that we can submit the copy of the 'Title of the Car' which has my name and the Insurance Card which has his name as the 'Insured'. Will that work? Or will this come under scanner by the USCIS?

Thanks

I think the better course of action from an insurance point of view AND for removal of conditions is to make sure BOTH of your names are on the insurance cards. It's shows you have something together and from an insurance stand point you need to make sure you are listed on the insurance policy as well. Your agent can whip a new card out to you and email or fax it pretty quick.

How is it he has insurance on a car he does not own or lease? How is it you have insurance if your name is on no policy?

This is another case where people in marriages subject to scrutiny by USCIS NEED to get their papers in order, all of them, all the time. Citizens married to each other can drift through life doing stupid willy-nilly, who-cares things. You can't.

What you have sounds more like confusing gobbelty-###### than "evidence". Get the car in BOTH names. Get the insurance in BOTH names.
