Thanks guys!

When do you guys think I should call NVC and inquire about interview date? What would my chances be for interview in the month of august?

Call NVC right away! As soon as I got my CC, I just kept on calling every day to inquire about my interview date. I also began to call DOS as well.

And I don't know the wait times in your country, so I have no idea if August is realistic or not.

Im not sure either. I do know from fellow UK filers who have recently been approved they have just been given interview dates ranging from the 15th august to the 26th and even some in sept, so they are already filling up that month fast.

It all depends on india's caseload i suppose. Fingers crossed for you

As far as scheduling goes no luck today....Gonna call tomorrow

Do they keep logs of our calls?

I wish there was someway of finding our how packed the Consulate in Mumbai(India) is

Yes, they have a call record. Once when I was waiting for an interview date to be scheduled, I called NVC twice one day and the second operator was extremely rude and told me I had already called earlier and there was no date scheduled. So they definitely know when you call.

As for the wait times, I'd suggest looking at timelines for those going through Mumbai. Then look at the dates for their case complete and the interview date. You can then calculate the average wait time between case complete and interview date.

I called three time a day something, simply because each operator would tell me something different, which annoyed me, I was just trying to get a definitive answer about something lol.

That being said, they were nver rude to me, nor mentioned who much I called :D

Ah, yes, if you're trying to get an answer from them about a certain question, then yes, calling 3 times is minimum since they sometimes vary in answers.

Some operators are very nice. All but one that I talked to were nice and never mentioned I was calling too much. And with the one guy that I got that was very rude, I just ignored him. I had every right to call often to inquire about my case. His snappish comments weren't going to stop me from calling again.

Yeah indeed. I did once a slightly snappy lady, she was scottish and sounded like a robot, only giving me the scripted answers, She even got my name wrong twice haha. So I thanked her, said bye and hung up, rang straight back got a lovely irish guy who helped me very much :D
