CC today yey!!!

I think the 2nd week of June was last week based on so many people getting their interviews scheduled last week....anybody had their interview scheduled after the 2nd week or are we going to have to wait until week of July 11 to get an appointment for August? Any insights?

Cheers

And do not listen to the operators when they say they only schedule during the second week of each month. It's a LIE!! If you want proof, look at my own signature. I was scheduled during the FOURTH week! As have many, many others. Just keep calling NVC and DOS every day to see if an interview date has been assigned :)

Thanks Saylin, i will continue calling and hope we get the interview soon. Very encouraging message :)

My husband completed the medical today in Stockholm. He said everything was a breeze and doctor is the only Consulate assigned doctor in Stockholm so all cases go through him but he closes from mid July to August for summer so just another reminder to anybody going through Swedish Consulate to schedule your appointments in advance if necessary

Cheers

I've been calling the NVC to see if they shipped the case to the embassy yet, and they say they still haven't. I hadn't called earlier, but I was sure they had, because later in the afternoon of the day they gave me my interview a package left NVC for London, so I presumed that was mine. But now its been a week and they haven't sent the darn thing.

I know its not a big deal, but I was hoping it'd get there quickly because we scheduled our medical early and I wanted to avoid the chance that the medical arrived at the embassy before the case and they ditched the medical not knowing what it went to, but I've seen a lot of folks by now have filed for early medicals, and apparently the medical is valid for 12 months, so they must keep a record of it somewhere. In any case, congrats to everyone with their new CCs and Interviews! I can't wait till next month when we're all talking about our interviews and how they went, and then the few weeks afterwards when we're all together in the US. It's been a long journey!

Thank you! I hope you're next!

Thanks me too!

Still nothing yet...my husband was getting nowhere calling them so asked me to. I've called 3 times and keep getting different answers every time so I've kind of given up calling them for now. We requested a supervisor to look at the file since we KNOW the original marriage is in the package we sent...called two days later to be told that a supervisor had looked at it and had sent it backed to the original department that reviewed it....3 days after that....I call again and apparently it is still under supervisor review! I asked if that was the case, why was I told it was already done...the reply 'supervisor reviews take 10-15 days so there is no way it would have been done in two days, so I don't know why you were told that'.

So the waiting continues................................................

I know, she doesn't care that we had to wait all this time and know she doesn't even bother to let us know,it's ridiculous, when we called NVC they said that they also send a package of info by mail to my husband,he needs to call one of his brothers today to see if he got anything because he's out of the town with work.

I will definitely call NVC every day until i get the checklist.
