Ok, we'll do that, thanks :) I hope we get it soon too!

Is it possible to call DOS to see if Montreal has July dates all booked?

I'm not sure if they would know that. I'd suggest looking at other timelines of Canadians who recently got interview dates and see where in July Montreal is.

I have been doing that, but it's weird how some are getting early July dates, then it jumps to early August...so I'm assuming July is close to being completely booked at this point. I haven't seen late July dates yet.

USCIS: 166 Days
10/21/10: Sent I-130 Package
04/14/11: Received NOA2 E-mail

NVC: 54 Days

09/02/11: Received Perment Resident card & another Welcome Notice (dated 08/25/11)

I-751 ROC: 118 Days

06/29/13: Mailed Package

10/25/13: ROC Approved

N-400:

They've all been IR-1/CR-1 cases? Weird that it jumps. It's supposed to be filled up one day after another...

hello all,i have a question, when we got to the interview do we have to pay a visa fee,or is just the one from NVC,that we already paid.Thank you

As far as I know, provided you've paid all your fees - you won't have anymore for the actual interview.

Just the medical and associated expenses. And perhaps payment to have the paperwork delivered? I'm not sure, someone will have a better response I imagine.

Your answer is perfect!

There's the medical cost which is the last, big cost after NVC.

Then some consulate/embassies have a fee for delivery. In Canada, delivery is provided for free :)

That's how it was done in Canada before, but sometime last fall they changed to DHL and provided it for free :)

First they need to make the EP system a lot better as there's a lot of problems with it. But when (if?) they fix it, I agree, it should be made available to all countries.

Seems like both CR-1 and K visas. I didn't know that they processed CR-1 and K visa interviews separately. I guess that makes sense and gives me a bit of hope of getting a July interview date.

I finally got my case complete e-mail about half an hour ago

Yeah, there's different processing times for K1 and IR-1/CR-1 applicants. The K1 visas are being scheduled for August while the IR-1/CR-1 are being scheduled for July. So unless all the spots have been taken up, I think you might still have a shot for July.

And grats on getting the CC email! kicking.gif
