Wow, there has been a lot of action here lately.

Congrats to everyone on their SIFs, CCs and interview dates.

I myself called and found out my husband's interview date today. We got what we've been praying for, a July interview. July 11th to be exact. Now I can relax and stop stressing out so much about possibly not being able to go.

To those of you still waiting I wish you the best of luck!

Congrats to all the ppl getting CC and interview dates lately!!!

I called the NVC myself a little while ago, since my husband (the USC) never seems to get far with them. He has called at least 3 times and asked to speak to a supervisor and each time he is told he can't speak to anyone else.

The lady I got was very nice, but really couldn't tell me much. She said that my husband had requested a supervisor review of our case due to getting a (false??) RFE for our original marriage certificate..which are 100% sure was in the package.

She said a supervisor had pulled the file, but had sent it back to the orignal department today. I asked if this means that the supervisor had found the marriage certificate and had fixed it up, or if they still couldn't find it and had sent it back to wait for us to reply to the RFE...she couldn't tell me what it meant. She said we should get a CC in the next two weeks, and it could then be forwarded to Sydney, but I wouldn't get a July interview now, but would get one for August.

I really hope that this gets fixed up ASAP, it's so frustrating when you KNOW you have sent them everything and they try to tell you its not there!

We're on the same boat as you! Hopefully these guys get it all resolved soon so we can both get CC! GL! :)

Just Called the NVC again (second time today) and they answered 2 questions I was curious about. #1: We got our interview!!!!!!!!! July 25th at 9 AM! #2, the operator said: "I see you called earlier today," which was something I was curious about. They do record how many times you call!

But, in any case, the great news is.... we're scheduled!!! and in July!!!

Interview scheduled July 19 kicking.gifkicking.gifkicking.gif

I'm soooooooooooooooooooo Happyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

Finally I found where people were hanging out =) lol! I'm reading about all these CC and interviews and it's making me all teary-eyed. It brings such JOY and hope that you all will be re-united with your spouses very, very soon! =)

I got my CC email today. I had to call the NVC to confirm because I CAN still log into this page: http://ceac.state.gov/IV Is that not the portal were you're supposed to get a SIF? It looks different than before. It used to say PAID I think but now it says "pay" but it's not clickable. And it said below that they've been paid. I've no clue really. All I know is the guy on the phone said the case was in fact, complete and that I need to sit back and wait for an interview to be scheduled!

Grats on getting your CC! kicking.gif

And nope, that's the wrong page for the SIF! That page is only used by those doing the online forms (DS-261 and DS-260), so the SIF is at the payment portal site which is used by everyone. Try logging on here https://ceac.state.gov/CTRAC/Invoice/signon.aspx and see what happens ;)
