I am just browsing this thread...still waiting on NOA2 Approval...looks like around late July here.

Anyways, What's the consensus on sending the IV and AOS packets. Together, separate? I have heard mixed responses on this.

Thanks in advanced.

You send them according to what you paid, together or not. You absolutely need each bar code page (AOS & IV) for both packages.

I called and provided his and mine email address , the operator was very friendly . I emailed my DS3032 . Now what happens? Can my husband pay AOS and IV fee together or he first has to pay AOS and then IV fee will be generated ?

Please remember, the AOS and IV are completely separate tracks. They are not connected at all.

The first track is pay the AOS bill, wait for it to appear as PAID, print the barcoded cover sheet, mail in the AOS package.

The second track is mail and/or email the DS-3032, wait for acceptance, once accepted the IV bill will be invoiced, pay it, wait for it to appear as PAID, print the barcoded cover sheet, mail in the IV package.

Now, of course, you don't have to do anything immediately, so if you wanted to wait to pay the AOS and IV bills at the same time, you can. If you want to wait to mail the AOS package at the same time as the IV package, you can.

Both ways will be accepted by NVC; it doesn't matter. The only thing that does matter is that both are clearly marked, one as the AOS package and the other as the IV. And that both have the barcoded cover sheets as the first page.

Grats on the SIF!

The AVR will update a day or two after your case is complete, so if you don't want to call an operator, then just listen to the AVR over the next few days.

In regards to my RFE, I called up the NVC operator making sure that I should send my entire package again (per first operator) because it states on the RFE letter to send in the required documents. Let me just say I wish I hadn't. She was the WORST NVC operator I've ever spoken to, she sounded like she had no clue what I was explaining to her, she kept telling me to call up agencies in Thailand and request my birth certificate since I was born there...I felt like saying "hello Stupid, I just told you records beyond 20 years are not kept, and they cannot find it, which was why the UN issued me a letter of seal in liu of my birth certificate, what do you not understand?!?!"....anyways, she was pretty worthless so I just hung up on her while she was in silence for at least 10 seconds using up any brain cells she had left to put together what I had just explained to her.

I received an e-mail last night confirming that they are currently reviewing my RFE documents, and should take another 20 business days...

Well that took awhile! laughing.gif Do you know why it took so much longer than the normal timeframe to get your PCC? Either way, you finally got it and sent it off, so grats! Hopefully you get a CC soon!

Wow... blink.gif She definitely sounds like a very unhelpful operator. Good job on hanging up on her ;)laughing.gif I would have done the same. Try calling again and asking your question, but hopefully you get a different operator that actually understands what you're saying and can help. Good luck!
