Either the petitioner or the beneficiary can call. You just have to give the operator your NVC case number or your USCIS receipt number, beneficiary's name and date of birth, and petitioner's name and date of birth.

Hey everybody just want to share some good news with you we got SIF yesterday at 09:12 pm but on the AVR it was updated today to the NVC has received the ckeck list letter response on may 20 .

Great to see this thread going to share our experiences in the process.

We got our NOA 2 approved on 5/5 and today I just paid the AOS and IV fees which are currently in process.

Getting the AOS docs together to submit as soon as the fees change to "paid"

Our case is currently set to be processed in Stockholm but my husband may move back to UK (his home country) with work in the next month or two so we may need to change the processing place to UK.

Let's hope we all get our cases successfuly through NVC very very quickly

So I called the NVC yesterday to listen to the AVR and it said they reviewed my packet and found that there was missing information or that it was incomplete and that on the 20th they sent me a list. I called today to find out that the package they reviewed was my AOS package that I sent on the 11th and the "missing information" is the DS-230. What a relief. I told them that I already sent in the DS-230 about a week after the AOS but they gave me the whole "wait 20 business days from the day you sent the packet blah blah blah".

I wish they would double check first before they start generating RFEs . I was going crazy trying to think of what I could have possibly forgotten and my husband was nagging me all day to call them and find out.

I got an rfe today for both packets, just stating that they hadn't received them, but I sent them two weeks ago. I'll call today to see what's up. Fun.

That's where I am at now exactly.... Sent the Packet on May 6th, got the RFE for DS260 (online version of DS-230) supporting documents on May 13th. Operator told me the same thing, but out of paranoia, I went ahead and put the checklist barcode sheet on the front and resent it yesterday. Now just crossing my fingers for speedy approval. called the operator. got a checklist. line 10 should have had 1 instead of 0.

was told to go ahead and send it in with the bar coded sheet. no need to wait for the checklist. will overnight in first thing in the morning (tuesday night already here in PI) oh how the world turns...

Yes, I have the same message on their AVR, but I remember seeing this noted in Loto's guide: How to bring my spouse blah blah blah

Today, in a couple of hours, I will be mailing our IV package.

Called back in 3 times today. By the 3rd call they had confirmed that they -did- in fact receive both the IV and the I-864 packages and were reviewing them. They couldn't explain why they sent me an RFE and checklist for both packages even though they'd arrived over a week ago. The AVR now says (it updated fast!) "We have received your checklist response and are reviewing..." etc. Well, on the bright side, disaster avoided!

Don't want to upset you but it can take anywhere from 2-3 weeks to NEVER. I sent my RFE for the AOS on May 2 and I keep getting checklists that they don't have it yet. I resent it again and I wish they can just tell me whats going on rather than making me go crazy But on the brighter side, most of the time it takes an average 2 weeks so I hope you get yours reviewed fast.

I guess it's better than waiting 5+ months like we did with USCIS...but it's unpredictable with no updates! I hope you get your case sorted out soon too!
