Our AOS fee showed up paid today, I 'overnighted' the package immediately (though it won't get there till Friday at 10 AM!). We also got a flurry of e-mails today; the NVC accepted our e-mail that they correct my wife's name, and then immediately afterwards accepted the DS3032! Next the IV package and we're (hopefully) done with the NVC!

*twiddles* Resent choice of agent yesterday using the online form rather than emailing it; hopefully it will be accepted soon and the bill available while I'm confident I have the funds to pay it (yay tax refund).

Wow, you're moving much faster than we are! It took NVC about a week to invoice each fee for us!

Wow, you're moving much faster than we are! It took NVC about a week to invoice each fee for us!

But glad to see that everything is moving at a much smoother and quicker pace with NVC than it did with USCIS for you :)

I noticed that, too. You guys zipped past me in USCIS, but somehow I've caught up and am moving right along with NVC. Today, I tracked our AOS package and it showed delivered today.

I'm also very surprised that the longest step in the NVC stage for me has been getting the actual case #. After that everything else has been quick quick quick. Hope they keep that pace after I send the IV package and give us a CC right away.

I'm so glad I've been preparing all of these documents since last November. Otherwise I think I would have still been scrambling to gather the AOS and IV documents right now.

So not used to this fast pace at the NVC lol!

And it's not the NVC that's holding us up now...it's me! Wasn't expecting things to happen so quickly at the NVC so was late getting my police check done. Hopefully I will get that back next week and then I can send my DS-230 package back.

Would love to have my visa by July 8th - that is my husband's birthday and will also be our 1st wedding anniversary.....so fingers crossed.

18 Apr 2011 - APPROVED!! NOA2 text and email

29 Apr 2011 - Case entered into the system/Case number assigned; Medical Exam in Sydney

30 Apr 2011 - Police Check Application sent

2 May 2011 - Called NVC and got Invoice ID number

3 May 2011 - Sent DS-3032 email

4 May 2011 - Received email reply from NVC for DS-3032; Received Medical Exam results

5 May 2011 - AOS invoiced and paid

7 May 2011 - AOS package sent; IV invoiced and paid

9 May 2011 - AOS package delivered to NVC according to tracking

20 May 2011 - RFE for missing IV package....still waiting on Police Certificate!

24 May 2011 - Received Police Certificate after 25 days (so much for 7-10!); IV package sent

8 Jun 2011 - RFE for original marriage certificate; requested supervisor review since we KNOW it was in the package!

Yeah, I'm digging the fast pace! Though I dread to think what I'll feel like when it slows down again. I got used to being patient (sort of) for 5 months, now I think blood will shoot directly out of my eyeballs if I don't get to do something on the visa case everyday, all my hard-won patience has gone away!

Woke up this morning and found the IV fee invoiced, and paid that. Now assembling the package so I can overnight it the second it shows paid. The AOS package is "out for delivery" according to UPS tracking, and I paid for it to be delivered before 10 AM so it should get there any minute now! Hopefully, by Monday, they'll have all 2 packages and since we're fairly straightforward I'm hoping for no RFE's either, and then we can be on our way.

My wife scheduled her medical in London and is going to her GP to get record of her vaccinations and doctor's notes, and she's already got copies of everything she could possibly need, so I think we're ready to go!
