Quick question tho..

I sent my AOS package last Mon and I've seen that they recieved it this Wed.

I forgot to attach the I-694 - but I attached the Vaccination record I previously had.

Can I still send the I694 or just wait for them to request for it from RFE letter?

No you can't send it, just wait for RFE if you get one. You might not since you already put the vaccination record in.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

I just got my EAD card on Aug.4, 2010. I have my adjustment of status interview coming up on Sept. 7, 2010, and it says bring 2 months worth of paystubs. SHould i just bring what ive gotten so far? Or does that just mean for the petitioner>

It just means for the petitioner, or whoever filled out the Affidavit of Support.

as far as I know, you'll need 2 photos for adjusting status (I-485), 2 for EAD and, if you apply for advance parole you need another 2...

Do we have to send photos of proof of relationship? Or are you talking about sending 2 passport photos for AOS?

2 passport type photos for every form that one sends...

HI.

I have a question about the Employment Authorization. I completed my Masters and got an EAD after the graduate school which is valid till June 2011. I also got married and applied for AOS and Employment Authorization based on the AOS status (c9 category). So, now if I am working using EAD which I got after my graduate school, will it be an authorized employment, I am still waiting for my EAD from AOS application package to be processed. I was wondering if I can still use my EAD which I got after graduate school till I get the EAD based on my AOS. Please let me know as soon as possible, I have to start work soon.

Hello-

I was hoping someone could help clear something up for me. I sent in my wife's I-485 package on 24 Nov. I had checked the filing fees a couple of days earlier and it was $930 for the I-485 and $80 for the biometrics. It seems they increased the fees on 23 Nov to $985 for the I-485 and $85 for the biometrics. Today I got home and the entire mangled package was stuffed in my mailbox. I took it inside and opened it up to find a nice rejection notice on top due to my check for $1010 being the incorrect amount. Ok I unknowingly missed it by a day, got it (although I can't believe there is not a grace period or better yet some kind of notification on the web site that the fees will be changing).

What I am really confused about now is that they stapled a rejection notice to the I-765 saying that the $380.00 fee was missing for this form. My wife entered on a K1 visa and the instructions indicate that this fee is not required when filing this form with the I-485 AOS packgage. Am I reading the instructions wrong or did the USCIS just get rejection happy? I am trying to get this thing ready to re-send and if I come home 3 weeks from now and find this thing ram jammed in my mailbox again I may have a minor meltdown. Any knowledge you can pass is much appreciated. Many thanks!

Brian

I received my biometrics letter 1/26/11.

On 2/8 I received an email that on 2/7 a RFE and notice letter had been mailed out.

Is this normal to get a RFE after your biometrics letter has been scheduled?

I am applying for adjustment of status through family based

Same thing over here. USCIS behind time on the website/email. I received that same RFE when I was doing my citizenship. Don't worry about it. I received my moms biomertrics letter on 02/23/11. They're just waiting on the fingerprints to proceed with the case... that's it.
