Wow!

Your TOTAL carbon footprint is only 46% of comparable households , and 305% of the global average.

These emissions are the equivalent of burning 64 barrels of oil,

or driving 5 typical 25 mpg cars 10,000 miles per year.

Metric tons CO2/year How does my Carbon Footprint

(metric tons CO2e/yr) compare?

Urban garden, less meat, more bike riding and walking, less driving. We sin on airline trips.

That's great! When we eventually can buy our own home, I'd like to have my own garden, and possibly raise some animals - goats, chickens. :)

I need to get a new bike, but walking/bus is viable where we live.

can't crop an image here at work, but i have the same footprint as Steven... :o

except i have "47 similar US Households" on that part... everything else is the same.

I feel dirty now.

I need to go buy an F-350 with a huge exhaust.

Pretty soon you'll be wearing patchouli oil drenched, tie-dye shirts and sitting under trees in public parks while doing yoga meditation.

Just got a new bike a few weeks ago. I feel like one of those urban hipsters now.

As for our garden- its raised and in the parking lot behind the building. Right in between the parking and a fence... about 20 sq ft. Enough to give us decent summer tomatoes and peppers for our spanish gazpacho soups and salads. Against the back porch I have blueberries. Can't complain.

Very cool. I'm not sure what kind of bike to get, but those beach cruisers don't look appealing to me in spite of their retro look. I want a bike that I can cruise the streets on and pick up chicks with.

Don't know, but I'm seriously going home to make some damn Gazpacho now.

HAL 9000 is fond of cool Gazpacho...

But its not a cold weather soup!

All this tomato talk has gotten me in the mood for some cold Gazpacho.

Once I move to a building with rooftop use ability... then we can talk about an organic urban garden too. For now its an indoor organic garden, as its been for the last couple of years.

Just attach one of these and make sure you have a bottle of champagne for those *special moments.*

It ain't just the gazpacho ;) It's everything.

Although I must say, it is sheer genius to create a sockpuppet and not try to disguise it in any way.

I don't understand.
