Hi all,

I'm very happy to find a forum which seems to get down to travel business related to the USA

I'm Australian and my wife is American. We are in our 50's.

We have been moving between countries for quite a few years and have finally put down roots. We purchased a farm in Australia and a house in Lincoln, Nebraska. We intend to stay in the USA for 5 to 6 months of the year and in Australia for the rest.

Through luck and good management we no longer need to work and have a reasonably high income from investment properties in London and 3 small business operations in Australia.

I'm wondering where to search here or where to post questions related to not wanting a green card or to move to the USA. We intend to be there for 4 to 5 months a year until Debra's parents pass on then be fulltime in Australia.

The VWP will obviously give me 3 months and I'm wondering if there is something inbetween such as a long term visa?
