Just wondering if we can use copys of the G325A (including signatures)-it would be so much easier and cheaper if Marie could fax me copys. I was a dummy and only brought back with me from the Philippines 1 completed and signed four page G325A form from Marie for the I-130. I forgot all about needing them for the I-129F also. Im really strapped for cash and not only will Marie have to Fed Ex another set of G-325A forms to me but before she does that I have to fed ex her the filled out (minus signature) fillable G325A for her to sign because for some reason she cant get pages 2,3,and 4 to print or even fill out,she was in tears because she couldnt figure it out. I tried and tried to help her online but it was not working for her. It works fine for me! So now she insist on just sending me her signature only and I am afraid it will cause a delay. I already sent the I-130 and fed ex says it will take 1 week for her to get the forms I send her. And then Im guessing a week for them to be returned also. Will the receipt from the I-130 be here already . Will we have to wait to send the I-129F because of these G-325A forms we have to send back and forth from the Philippines/U.S.?. Any suggestions? If we can use copys of her signature that would be awesome!

You cannot use copies. They must be original signatures on all four copies.

Edit to add: Is she using Adobe Acrobat to fill in the forms? If so, all four pages should auto fill and print.

I am sorry to hear that. But unfortunately, she needs to sign her own G-325A. USCIS does not accept the photocopy. You can fill out the form online, then email all 4 pages to her. All she has to do is to print them out, sign and date them, and express mail them to you.

I-130 Timeline with USCIS:

It took 92 days for I-130 to get approved from the filing date

NVC Process of I-130:

It took 78 days to complete the NVC process

Interview Process at The U.S. Embassy

Interview took 223 days from the I-130 filing date. Immigrant Visa was issued right after the interview

It will cost less in time and money if she can find somebody there with a good computer (some student, why not) to help her print the G-325. She can pay somebody a few bucks if necessary to help her. Then she completes them and send them to you asap. I don't know if the consulate might send some forms...in any case the idea being that she do from there whatever she can first to get and fill the form. Good Luck and don't worry, it's also a learning process in the same time!

OH MY GOSH-Thankyou  - I thought because the form couldnt be saved I also couldnt email it. I just tryed it by sending it to my email address and it works great  . Now if she has trouble printing it out I am sure its because the cafe she is at doesnt have the latest version of Adobe and if thats the case she can go to this other internet cafe close by that I am sure has the latest version of adobe. Oh how I needed something to work out for us. Marie was so upset that she couldnt get the form filled out. This will make her very happy  -Thankyou

For clarification, be sure that she signs all four copies of the G-325A. That is what you need to submit with your petition.

Please acknowledge that you understand that.

GarynMarie,

So have her print 4 copies of page 1 (or make 3 photocopies of page 1 before signing it) and mail it to you by regular post rather than FedEx.

The 1st page of the form is different from the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th page. If the email thing does not work out for her then have her fill both the 1st page and the 2nd page and then print the 2nd page thrice. I had a similar problem too. It probably has to do with the version of Adobe installed on that computer.

Thanks a lot.

shree_anil,

Yes, all 4 pages are different one from another, but the difference is unimportant and all of the information to be entered by the applicant is identical in all respects on all 4 pages.

Having 4 copies of page 1 is no different than having page 1 and 3 copies of page 2, except that it's less work when Acrobat will only populate page 1.
