AOS docs submitted. How long to process?

Hi again. My husband and I got lucky and are doing electronic filing for his IR-1 visa through the NVC. On Friday 22nd last week we received an email telling us they got the AOS payment and docs (I-864) and the DS-3032. They say they are now processing what we sent them. How long should we expect this step to take? Is there anything else we can do in the meantime while we wait? Thanks for your help and advice!
