Has the us embassy been held up on visa delieveries i have heard so many different dates some people get their visa in 5 days others it has been 21 and still no word can anyone tell me why worried cause i was stupid after her april 14th interview which we passed i bought a plane ticket for may 4 thinking for sure that we would have it by then any ehlp or word about this?

I-129F NOA1 : 2010-10-22

I-129F RFE(s) : 2011-02-24

I-129F NOA2 : 2011-03-09

NVC Received : 2011-03-16

NVC Left : 2011-03-22

Packet 4 Received : 2011-03-25

Medical Exam : 2011-03-30 PASSED!

Interview Date : 2011-04-14 PASSED!

Visa received : 2011-04-26

CFO Stamp : 2011-05-02

Flight : 2011-05-04

Do I really need to say it? Never, ever buy your ticket prior to having the visa in your hand as there are so many things that could happen to delay receiving the visa.

Yes, you really need to say it.

Or people need to be prepared to lose their money if they buy tickets without valid travel documents in hand.

We got approved the same day. My fiancee has her passport with the visa stamp already

  • April 2010 - Decided to meet in person
  • 06.01.2010 - She flew from Dubai to Philippines for vacationing
  • 06.21.2010 - We met in Philippines
  • 06.24.2010 - Engaged
  • 06.28.2010 - Came back to USA
  • 07.05.2010 - She flew back to Dubai (work)
  • 08.02.2010 - Mailed I129F to VSC
  • 08.03.2010 - Delivered to VSC. Signed by D RENAUD.
  • 08.09.2010 - Check cashed
  • 08.14.2010 - NOA1 (Dated 08/06/2010)!!!!!!!!

we had the same interview date.. my visa is not yet delivered too.. some vj members said that it depends on the consul if they will print ur visa immediately the day after ur interview or they need to review your docs again that makes the delay.. can you track your visa at 2go online??

she is in cebu they said that she would get her visa in a week i am hopping this week. cause my documents were very good i am sure

My fiancee is still waiting for her visa as well. Her interview was on the 15th. I'm hoping to buy tickets for May 1st, but will wait for the visa in her hand first. I figure since Friday was a holiday, and I think Thursday was too, things might take longer.

08-22-2008 - Met my wonderful wife in the Philippines.
03-21-2010 - I proposed to her in the Philippines.
09-07-2010 - I-129F filed for K-1 Visa.
09-12-2010 - NOA1 confirmation email received.
11-02-2010 - I visitied the Philippines again.

02-07-2011 - NOA2 email recieved. Approved.
03-22-2011 - Case at USEM.

04-15-2011 - Interview Date. She passed.
05-01-2011 - POE

06-25-2011 - We were married.

-Life has been great ever since.

Well, mine had her interview in Dubai. The procedure in Dubai is much simpler and faster. I think.

Thank god i called my airline and i am able to change to a later date for a fee if my fiancee does not get her visa in time so lucky i wont waste alot of money
