I included a photo of us together with his daughter and her puppy....we are joking that this is reason for our fast approval...the cuteness factor....I want to hug that dog right now :D

I hope everyone else gets approved soon too, good luck !

Now everybody is going to try to add cuteness to their pictures. :yes:

Does this mean I am approved or that they are sending me a RFE ? I just got the email but haven't received the actual letter yet.

On April 22, 2011, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this I129F PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you receive the notice, call customer service at 1-800-375-5283.

Hi, I just posted this Here a little while ago too. Its it really all apporoved and I have the visa? I'm wondering because I didn't have an interview or medical and I thought those parts were necessary not optional.

All you've done so far is file a petition to apply for a visa. It's the petition that's been approved. You still have a ways to go now but it should go much quicker from here on out. Good luck with the rest of it :)

August 23, 2010 - I-129 F package sent via USPS priority mail with delivery confirmation.

August 30, 2010 - Per Department of Homeland Security (DHS) e-mail, petition received and routed to California Service Center for processing. Check cashed. I-797C Notice of Action by mail (NOA 1) - Received date 08/25/2010. Notice date 08/27/2010.

After 150 days of imposed anxious patience...

January 24, 2011 - Per USCIS website, petition approved and notice mailed.

January 31, 2011 - Approval receipt notice (NOA 2) received by mail. Called NVC, given Santo Domingo case number, and informed that petition was sent same day to consulate.

Called Visa Specialist at the Department of State every day for a case update. Informed of interview date on February, 16 2011. Informed that packet was mailed to fiance on February, 15 2011.

February 21, 2011 - Fiance has not yet received packet. Called 1-877-804-5402 (Visa Information Center of the United States Embassy) to request a duplicate packet in person pick-up at the US consulate in Santo Domingo. Packet can be picked-up by fiance on 02/28.

March 1, 2011 - Medical exam completed at Consultorios de Visa in Santo Domingo.

March 9, 2011 at 6 AM - Interview, approved!

March 18, 2011 - POE together. JFK and O'Hare airports. Legal wedding: May 16, 2011.

wow that was really really fast and it was only one month or so. gosh you are lucky. no wonder you weren't sure if it was a RFE or approval, i would have been skeptical too. congratulations.

I hope things keep going fast, I wasn't expecting this so we have to get all of his documents together asap ...wow..whata surprise.

My fingers are crossed for everyone else !

My Timeline

Dec 2008: Met my baby

Dec-July: Spend a million dollars on phone calls :)

July 2009: Visit to Havana

February-March 2010: Live together for the first time

April-December: Emails and texts and chats oh my !

January-March 2011: Together again ! Sooooo happy

November 2011: Went to Havana for the interview and we were approved ! Now on the the carta blanca

04-29-2011: Case Forwarded to Havana

04-19-2011: My fiance received packet 3

11-01-2011: Interview Appointment. Approved!!!

11-02-2011: Received Visa

04-25-2012: Arrival in LA Airport!!!

06-08-2012: Married!!!

Adjustment of Status:

07-24-2012: Mailed AOS papers along with AP and EAD
