My wife loads up on clothes, purses, watches, etc when we go to PI. Never had a problem coming thru customs.

Just tell them it's for personal use

Do you really think they are going to question what you are wearing, or what you plan on wearing.

I flew back from Philippines in March.

I checked my bags in at Manila and had them sent to Dallas / Ft. Worth Airport. My POE was San Francisco, I only had 2 carry on bags with me in San Fran. when I went thru customs.

When I arrived in Dallas I picked my 2 checked in bags at the domestic baggage gate, never had to go thru customs with my 2 check in bags.

I thought that was kinda strange......... :thumbs:
