well, it looks like we didn't get the house :( .. we never heard back...

We sent in an application for a 2 bedroom apartment we saw on the weekend.... It is a two story apartment and they are in the process of ripping up the carpet and floors and putting in new flooring....

the neighborhood is so-so....

the apartment has tonnes of storage space, which I love... The rent is $995 a month.. and includes water and trash....

we should hear something in a few days... There were two apartments available so our chances are good

Bummer about the house, hope you get in on an apartment though!

Hubby and I are looking into moving to New Hampshire since he commutes from Portland ME to Portsmouth NH every day right now, and we're wondering how on earth we'd find decent rental property without heading so far north we might as well not move! Oh, the joys of renting....
