Has no one called to check the status of it? 1999? um..thats WAY to long. does he/you have a reciept its been recieved? you may want to call the USCIS 1800 # and find out the status- I believe its been WAY closed.

You need to do some back checking on the petition. did it ever make it out of USCIS? What about the status on the USCIS website. Does it even show as an active petition? Any RFE's or any correspondence ever received from USCIS or NVC?

hello everyone,

for Mexicans it's more than 18 years of waiting, they're in 1992 for married children.

so more than 7 years more of waiting. he has to check the visa bulletin every month.

the petition was filed as an unmarried son...my father has been divorced since 1995. the last notice that he got was in October 12,200O stating an Approval notice

still,

For May, they are in March 1st, 1993 for Mexican unmarried children, more than 6 years. it's still more than 18 years in all.
