RFE 797e after I-751

Hi all...We need some info

we got married in 2008 and got the 2 year green-card. We filed for the I-751 form on Feb. We submitted pictures, affidavits from family, tax return, etc.

We got an RFE 797e back for more info.

I wanted to have some people opinions on this; I have my wife’s W-2 pointing to a different address than where we live (her w2 (2008/2009/2010) point to her mom’s place). But we filed jointly on all tax returns. All the tax returns point to our current address where we both live. My question is whether or not the discrepancy in address of my wife’s w-2 and our tax returns could be a potential problem for immigration. I heard that many people tend to file their w-2 to a different places( like we did ), other than where the live, and that this is more or less common, but just wanted to have some of your opinions on this.

Why wouldn't you just order tax transcripts from the IRS for free and not have to send a W-2 in if your worried about the address difference?

You need to be submitting things that show you are living together and sharing bills and accounts and co-mingling your finances etc.

Life insurance policy/ medical insurance / credit cards / utility bills / car insurance / family cellphone plans etc. Needs to span the time of the 2yr green card. So basically every few months copys of these major things.

Your I-129f was approved in 5 days from your NOA1 date.

Your interview took 67 days from your I-129F NOA1 date.

AOS was approved in 2 months and 8 days without interview.

ROC was approved in 3 months and 2 days without interview.

Because on the 797e (the requests for more information form that I got) they want to have all attachment that come with my tax return, and that includes the w-2 forms of my wife, that have a different address. Well that’s my problem. I just don’t want any more problems with this guys, because they can be a real pain for nothing some times. especially after the government shutdown, probably they didn't get paid or something, I don't know.

The Government didn't shut down, I doubt that has anything to do with it.

well I don't know then, but the problem is that they did sent 797e requesting more info.

but well then, like I was saying in the one of my above post. The problem is that some of my wife’s documents still point to her moms place. For example, her W-2 still point to her moms place, she didn’t change this, and her mom always got her papers w-2 papers etc but or tax returns are fine and the all point to our current address. also, most of our papers do get to our current address and the USCIS has that address. I was worry because the USCIS is asking me for her w-2, and I just don’t know how the USCIS is going to react when they see that my wife's w2 have a different address than my current home. I know that this guys look at mismatch's like this on purpose. So my question was if you guys think that this mismatch is address of the w-2 was a potential problem for me with the USCIS.
