You probably won't find many people here that went through DCF in Casa. If your husband lives in Casa and has a resident card as proof of residence, then you can file DCF in Casa. I wanted to but did not live in Casa, so I was allowed to file in a 3rd country DCF since I was not living in the US. Not many people file DCF in Casa because of the residency requirements. See Casa consulate website:

Sometimes, a U.S. citizen living abroad can file an immigrant visa petition at an U.S. embassy or consulate (post). The US Consulate-General in Casablanca petitions ONLY from US Citizens RESIDING in Morocco. A petitioning US Citizen must provide a valid Moroccan residency permit issued by the Moroccan authorities. A valid Moroccan Resident Card is the ONLY document considered proof of residency in Morocco.

Try to make inquiries there if you are considering DCF. Follow the K-3, if you want to enter the US as a NON-immigrant and adjust status.

All the best,

Christine :luv:
