How would I go about finding employment if my meaningless piece of paper (degree) is not in IT, medicine, law, or engineering?

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

I used to live in Alaska. It was a hoot. You could do worse. It's a breathtakingly beautiful place and networking is so easy. I got a job with the governor's office while shooting the breeze in my living room.

Take grant writing courses. They will take you farther in no time. You can even use it to fund yourself once you finish your Masters degree. Seriously.

Writing grants is eerily fun sometimes. Not something I'd want to be doing in this current economic climate though.

They are looking for a grant writer here in Dillingham for the city. This place is a sh*t hole though and I wouldn't wish it on anyone unless they were desperate.
