Thank you for the info, I think I will do that. But just to let you know, you normally get a response for your application, like 30 days after your biometrics appoint. At least that was my case. So if my calculations are right you should get your response by May 08, or very close to that date. Please let me know how it went with you application, this especially after you sent the affidavit from your husband mom.

We got the NOA1 and the the biometrics, which my husband did on April 8th. VSC is way far behind CSC right now in processing. We filed quite close to the end of February and there are already some CSC filers who have been approved who sent their stuff same time as we did...there are ZERO VSC approvals for February so far. Hopefully they catch up soon, but we're trying to be patient :)

Hey guys, in your experience here, is it more or less normal to get 797eREF? And if you were to get one, is it more or less plausible to get a denial after the RFE than simply approval? Does the USCIS look at you more negatively after you get one? Or are they are simply waiting to get the information that they want? So that they may approve your petition?

I hope everything goes well and also comes-up fast for you. I know its difficult to be patient under this circumstances.

I was thinking in sending my joint “tax transcripts” from the IRS to the USCIS. But the IRS told me that they could also send me my joint “accounts transcripts”. I don’t have very clear what’s the deference between the two documents. So, which of the two documents would be better to send to the USCIS in you guys opinions.

Don't need account transcript (shows payments, adjustments, collections) - all USCIS wants is plain tax transcripts.

I got my green-card approved after the RFE . I had problems with the w2s though. my wife's never changed her address to our current address and they wanted to see my W2s, they asked explicitly for this on the RFE. but I found this :

Employee’s incorrect address on Form W-2. If you filed

a Form W-2 with the SSA reporting an incorrect address for

the employee, but all other information on the Form W-2

was correct, do not file Form W-2c with the SSA merely to

correct the address.

http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/iw2cw3c.pdf

So..its not illegal to change the address on the w2 to reflect your correct address, if you only change the address. IRS does not care about the address on the w2 that much

hope this helps anyone that has the same problem.
