Hello fellow VJers!

I was wondering if anyone knows if a service request actually accomplishes anything. Or do they notify you regarding the service request at all? I called Monday, about 5 months and a few days after my NOA1 (CSC) and it was a breeze to get it..She just stated yes you are clearly outside the normal processing time and we can put in a service request and to call back in 30 days if I haven't heard anything and gave me a number..So I did some searching, does that actually DO anything, or is a service request merely to patronize us? :bonk::rofl:

Good luck on your journey everyone! :-)

It seemed like it worked for me - we had our NOA2 within days of putting in a service request.

Would it have happened anyway? There is no way to know. I've certainly read other posts

where people say it didn't help at all. Good luck - hope it works in your case.

Yes, it did seem like an easy process to put it in, but doubdt it does anything: I think it only makes us feel better that we tried to do sommething to keep pur sanity.
