when and how do NVC schedule interview

Hi all,

I have been sneaking in this web almost everyday since we started our journey in NVC.

Now, our case is almost at it's end.

Our case has been completed on the 15th of April.

However, until now we don't have interview schedule yet. My husband called NVC almost 2 times since the completion and they confirmed that they got all papers they need. We are looking forward to have May interview but the representative to whom my husband spoke to said that May is already fully-booked and he has to call back again after 2 weeks to know our schedule.

I am just a little confused here. Other posts mentioned that it is the embassy that schedules interview, other posts said it is the NVC that schedules. Which is which?

Another thing, what comes first, NVC sends the papers first to the embassy before they notify you for the interview or NVC notifies your first before they send it to the embassy.

I appreciate all answers. Thank you.. :star:

Please check my signature. And yes, for Cr1/Ir1, it's the embassy who will schedule the interview.

Thanks guys for the response.

I am seeing that you both have almost same timeline, like 1 month and few days (from case completion to interview date).

So if my case was completed april 15, plus one month and 5 days - i am likely to have interview last week of May.

Hopefully... anyways, thanks.. i'll keep on praying.. first week of june interview is not bad, dang!i just wana be with my husband.
