Hello everyone. My CR1 visa is sent back to USCIS and it's 6 month that we have not heard any news. I am just curious about the wait time to hear from USCIS. Has anyone ever been in this situation? This waiting is so stressful for us. Thank You

Really sorry to hear that...do you know why it was sent back to USCIS? Did they send any kind of letter or tell you why? What stage was it in when it was sent back?

Why was it not clearly approvable? Ie did they doubt the bonafide of your relationship, did they think one of you was already married when you two got married, did you not fulfill the Affidavit of Support etc? Did you submit a legal marriage cert?

Thanks for filling in your timeline, but I am confused about that too... You sent your I-130 back in October 2009, it got to NVC in June 2010, so did they send it back to USCIS in November 2010 (6 months ago)? It is very unusual for them to keep it for several month and then send it back to USCIS.

You may want to contact your senator to enquire on your behalf, but first yuou'd need to know why the petition was "not found to be clearly approvable".
