I am 23 years old.

Before the K1 process, I had never found a gray hair.

In the past 2 months, I have found 4!!!!

Am I just getting old? Or is there something to the addage about going gray early from stress?

Or, is it just that the wait is so long to get a visa, that you literally have the time to GO gray in the process?

Yay for the early onset of salt and peper hair!

She wasn't my spouse at the time. We're K1.

Haha, well he's just my fiance now! And I wasn't getting them BEFORE we sent in the application.

So I think USCIS causes gray hairs!

Women tend to go grey quite early, compared to men. I know my wife has considerably more grey hairs than me, and she's almost 5 years younger than I am. However women also tend to dye their hair more than men do, so grey hair in women is less visually common!

23 is not young for a women to have a grey hair in my experience! You're getting older, but then again, aren't we all?

Found my first one at 21--my mom was completely gray early 30s. :( I have tooooo many to count now! Hair dye is my friend...although I try to stay as close to my natural hair color as humanly possible with these kits...just to maintain the illusion. ;) M.

edited to add: just wait 'til you have to pluck your first chin hair..that's reallyyyyyyyyyy thrilling. :( M.

hair dye has become a close friend-I swear my whole family went grey fairly early because of our Irish heritage(at least that is what my Mom blames it on).

dealing with immigration gave me stomach issues and grey hair :(

I've had gray hair since high school. My grandma was completely gray at 30, and I'm headed that way (I'm 23 now). It's genetic in my case, but I haven't wanted for stress in my life, that's for sure!

Do you dye your hair a lot? That can 'kill' the pigment in your hair which makes it lose it's color, so it looks gray, but technically it's not. I started going gray around age 20 and now have about 40% gray at 35. My hairdresser makes a lot of money out of me

I have noticed some grey hairs on my head.... I'm not sure how long they have been there because I usually colour my hair but can't now because of being pregnant.... Oh well, I guess I will have to live with the grey for a few more months :)
