What do you know about the illegal immigrant community in your area?

You understand what I'm talking about because of your exposure and interaction with the community. It has nothing to do with stereotyping. If you talk to them once in while, they tell you things.

Read the rest of what he posted. Read about the one on one interaction. Better yet, go out and try it yourself.

Oh, I would not want to contaminate myself by actually talking with the locals. Duh! I do interact with people all day long, and if the criteria is working in a manual job and not speaking English, then I must work with and live amongst thousands of illegals - except that I probably don't because they are probably perfectly legal. Mind you, as I don't work in the payroll department nor do I ask everyone I meet for proof of status, I should conclude that they must be illegal based on the 'if they don't speak English and they do manual labour they are illegal' criteria. I'll be sure to get mad next time I go to the gym and exercise with all those nasty non English speaking loafers.

I have found that illegals are very open about not having papers.

I have never met anyone who talked about their status, legal or otherwise.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

The only people who have asked me were both my employers and both only asked for my documents, they didn't actually ask the 'are you here legally' question.

Again, clueless. I'm sure you're from one of the good countries, I'd guess Great Britain or Australia by your posting style, so you don't have a community to interact with.

I have spent a lot of time in Yuma AZ and I have come to the same conclusion. There is a ongoing joke about how the illegals can beat the deportation bus back across the border.

I guess you give off a goody-two-shoes vibe.

Maybe, I don't know.

'Good countries'? Interesting.

You probably do. You do emanate it here through your posts so I wouldn't be shocked if you do it IRL too.

I do? Interesting. My mother will be pleased :)

More proof that you dont understand the illegal immigration problems we have here in the US.

Ah, so only people who are chummy with people who talk about their status understand the problems posed by undocumented immigrants in the US? Good to know

Some carry a fake passport from their home country. At one time, I don't know if it's still the case, those coming from South America, if caught by CBP were given a date to appear in court and released into the US, not detained and deported. How many do you think went back for the hearing? Once here, they send for theie real passport and go on with their lives.

Look at the source. I imagine he reads and diligently follows the directions on the back of the shampoo bottle.
