here the link to find documents needed for each country

a department of state link

http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/info/info_3742.html

link below was for polnad and actually does not work anymore

Click HERE for packets you will probably get from the embassy when your petition arrives there. These are actually from Poland, but are used world-wide. :) You should practice filling out and know what to do so when you do get them in the mail, you can fill them out and send back immediately.

This is a list of Example Questions that you may be asked at your interview.

Thanks a lot thats just what I was looking for :)

Hello does anybody know how to get an interview appointment in manila embassy???

my wife petitions already been approved and everything all that were waiting for is tha dates for

interview, but its been bout 3 months now and still nothing is happening...can somebody advice please..thanks

Hi,

I'm with you on this question. same scenario, I am also doing my research as well. I just called NVC they rcvd my approved petition from USCIS on 8/20. I recieved a letter on 8/28 stating that they will forward the petition to manila embassy within a week.

so # 1 Im not sure if I can call the number provided by the NVC website 1-888-877-9888 (which cost $18) to set up and appointment

or #2 wait till I recieved a letter from NVC for the next instructions

I read the K1 flow chart Have a good understanding on the process until the process landed on NVC--and US embassy.

my added scenario is that my fiance is pregnant and is due on Nov (would really like the baby to be born here in the US soil) thats not to mention that a whole another step and process I need to tackle if she gives birth in the Philippines.

Fellow VJ readers... your feed back, input, experiences is highly appreciated. big thanks!!

Our packet just moved to the NVC, and we are waiting for notification.

Can anyone advise about the delivery method used for the Embassy letter, with the interview date and documents? Is it sent via regular mail, or is a courier service, like DHL used?

I realize that DHL will be used to send the approved visas. This question is about the K1/K2 package delivery to Olga.

Thank you!

NOA2 - 4/26

NOA2 - Received 4/30 :)))

Hi! Just now seeing your post! Did you ever get clarification on this question? My fiance' and I are about to go through the interview, and we want as much information as we can get regarding the paperwork...

Hope your case is going well!

(I also see that your POE was Atlanta! My fiance's POE will either be Dulles or Atlanta.)

The Manila Embassy received our petition on Aug. 19th, I called the NVC and they confirmed that they sent it out on the 11th. I waited a few days while working on the I-134 and gathering more evidence of our continued relationship. I then called the embassy Monday night and they told me that they DON'T send out any packets and that you can download and print off the instructions and the forms 156, 156k and 157 right from the embassy's website. I checked and you can and you also can setup the appointment for his/her interview over the phone or by using something new called Visapoint, right on the embassy's website. The call does cost $18 but you can use your pin like 3 or 4 times they told me. Just as soon as she receives the I-134 package that I sent out today and she gets her 3 forms filled out, I will call and set up her interview.

hey I know this is a concern of yours for the child to possibly be born in Philippines, to be honest with you, its not a long drawn out process, it costs about 205$ for a crba and the child's passport. IF you are a US citizen and have the proof to back it up then the child is an US Citizen. Me and my wife are going through that with our son who is 4 months old and born in the Philippines.
