I did not say, or give example all Arizonans have long form birth cert. You did! Once again my comment was specific and identified an error in your OP "Arizona itself does not issue long form birth certificates and it would ban all Arizonans from running - except John McCain who was born in Panama“ So let stick to this one subject at hand, “Arizona itself does not issue long form birth certificates” your OP

Supported fact that Arizona has issued long forms, refers to a specific document: the paper version of the birth record of a person born before 1997. People born in 1997 and subsequent years do not have long-form certificates; their records are available as electronic certified copies, also known as "short form." I was born long before 1997 my own State of Arizona, Certificate Of Live Birth ‘long form’ makes me a presidential candidate according to HB 2177 and a "natural born" citizen by birth along with any one born before 1997

(As an irrelevant aside, most Brits (male) do not get circumcised and don't get embalmed - both of which are common practise in the US I hear. Nobody is stuffing me when I Koch my toes up)

It would be unduly harsh to say serving military abroad should have their children disqualified so I have no problem with McCain being 'natural born' even though the definition is unclear.

I am not in favor of two tier citizenship in any case and I think it's time 'citizen' was a first class title and good enough. It's time the UK reformed too so that Elton John could be Queen.

It really is desperation though to try and disqualify O and it gives the game away that the right see no other way to win. It shows insecurity and vulnerability and an empty war chest of ideas. The only ideas like Medicare vouchers are howled down and thrown back at the repubs so I suppose they have no other choice - but it is desperation and bound to fail because the Hawaiian birth is certified by every legal authority there. The attack by this method with also solidify Obama's support in the non white community who see it as a racist attack - so it is bound to fail and is also counter-productive. Anyone who is a floating voter is not going to go for it and only the extreme and pre-converted right believe it.

I think that is why O is not fighting it hard - he is suckering the right into an issue he can slam down on their fingers at any time

They would not be accepted as 'natural born citizens' if they did not have the long form

Short form people would be citizens but second class citizens like me who are not allowed to run

When the Governor realised that she vetoed it. I am told there are other States who issue short form and so the law would have disqualified those people too from running in Arizona

This is apart from the equality issues raised by circumcision certificates which most women

would not have

They will try again next week and disqualify anyone of any color, any gender, from any State who has with sticky out ears and a cocky manner and a tall wife

So...would god be disqualified on the grounds that he is dead with no long form birth certificate or circumcison certificate - or is he the living god so he is ok on that count but he was born in Israel so sorry god, you are in the same bracket as Alan and you are DISQUALIFIED !
