I'm so excited; just received an email from USCIS (VSC) that the I-130 petition has been approved (on 4/15/2011). I received my NOA1 on 12/6/2010. So it's only a little more than 4 months which makes me feel very lucky and relieved. But for those late November and early December filers, I hope mine is at least an indication that VSC is moving its cases forward.

Congratulations and good luck at NVC!

Thanks. I'm planning to OPTIN to electronic processing for NVC, so hopefully that will shorten the time period. Hopefully, I can breeze right through NVC and wait for that interview!

congrats on the approval..my priority date is december 6.2010 i see that visajourney states that they are now processing december 1.2010 i130 applications...mine was sent to csc..when should i get my approval any ideas?

Thank you. I am not sure about CSC, but it seems that they're moving cases along too, especially after they transferred many cases to TSC. I hope you get your approval soon.
