And don't forget you are older too, although not by much.

Oh yes we can't forget that and I don't see why that would be an issue.... My fiances brother has a friend who married a woman old enough to be his mother and she is sick has to be on oxygen 24 hours a day and he got his visa with no problems.... I believe there really is no rhyme or reason to the process

Well Morocco seems to always have tons of issues. I don't know why. Maybe the fraud rate is so high there that they look over everyone with a fine tooth comb and when they find any irregularities they jump on it. As you will find out by reading all the other posts on these types of things, usually everyone gets approved in the end if they are willing to hang in there long enough to win the battle. Egypt is tough but not like Morocco.

As Salaamu Alykum all :0)

I am here in Morocco right now going through process to marry here. When I return home I will apply for the CR-1 visa. Last year we applied for the K-1 but did not get it. At his interview he was told he would receive a call. A few days later he got a call and was told to come back upon his return he was given a "WHITE REFUSAL LETTER" with "OTHER" checked for the reason, which stated our application had been sent back. I called to ask about it and was told it was sent back for further review but was not told why. Upon it being recieved in the states our case was closed because the dates had expired... I am wondering if should try to find out why it needed further review and if I should how do I go about doing that????

Thanks more your time :0)

Wsalam..

It can be 101 reason why it was denied..you should try to call or email if necessary..make sure all documents are there etc etc good luck to you

I did all of that even contacted my senator still all I got was that our petition required further review then told it had been administratively closed because the dates had expired :(

Same thing happened to me. Hopefully waiting for my second NOA2 now. Good luck to you. It may be a long road ahead, so keep your patience hat on

I really don't think the age factor is as big a deal with the consulate as other factors. I am 9 years older than my husband and I know of one case in which the woman was 60 and her fiance was almost 30! Several here, which the age gap is larger than mine and also my own case got quick approvals recently....I had two vists of which was 2 weeks at a time over a three year relationship and was approved....both cases including my own made enough income to support the significant other.....one case the man has family in the USA and the consulate was aware and was not a big issue for them....both the other cases the ladies had traveled to Morocco 5-7 times and filed the

K-1 all three of us ladies had been married before.....and all three have children from our past marriages, but all 3 are white and my husbnad too agreed that most Arabic especially Moroccans are not attracted to black women and the consulate may be passing this very same judgement against you both.....I would mention the other siblings and the relationships cause this may be your problem and I am sure they are aware of info on these other siblings.....I know you both have fought hard to be together and I wish you the best. Can you go there and talk to the consulate?Arrange fora private meeting and air it all out and let them see how much you love one another?

Why now after the fact they are checking?

They will never give a "private meeting". Your case already returned and USCIS let it expire? You'll have to address the possible issues with your next petition. It might be worth investing in a lawyer that understands these type of cases.
