Ok…so my mother went to the embassy in Kingston today for her interview. I have here a copy of my 2010 tax return as requested by the interview letter. They gave a blue sheet telling her that she needs to present a copy of my w-2 and in the mean time reschedule another interview online. She also mentioned that they told her they will be processing in visa in the mean time. Now my question is what’s next and any idea how much longer this will take?

Ok the case was pre-approved... The final step is easy. It makes sense for the case to be blue slipped because you stated you have a copy of the "tax return" which is ok but it requires the copy of the W-2 wages/summary statement. The tax transcript is way more streamline.

So an email should be resent using the direction provided on the blue sheet to request an interview/APPOINTMENT INFO WINDOW. You can expect the AIW to be scheduled for about 3 weeks after you have sent the email.

Enjoy.

She emailed me the blue sheet today and they are asking for my 2009/2010 W-2 statements. I have my 2010 w-2 that my job gave me and I requested the 2009 w-2 today. I also have 2008 – 2010 tax transcripts from the IRS. I also send the embassy an email today to reschedule here appointment.

This next appointment I am sending my 2009 and 2010 w-2 and also the tax transcripts.
