My fiance had his interview this morning. He said that he was not able to finish the questions completely without being told "stop stop stop". He tried to explain our story but was interrupted before he could finish.. After about 35 mins of being with the interviewer he was asked for the three folders he took which included all our conversations by skype and face book and all of our photos. The interviewer then told him, We will call you in a few day." That's it........ Has anyone else had this experience? What does this mean?

When my husband had his interview they asked him the same questions over and over and over, but did not tell him to stop. They did however keep his papers, including his passport and simply said they would call him. They called him one week later and he picked up his visa.

Sounds promising...they would definitely tell him if he outright was denied. I think with my husband they just wanted to comb through everything, just looking for problems, before actually approving.

Good Luck and keep us posted!

Sorry to hear that, my guess is that they will send his information to DHS as they fingure printed him, they are tough on men that are from MENA...I hate it but that is the true. Also they will probably check those three folders and their notes that they gathered during the interview. There is a good chance that they will approve him since they did not deny him outright.

If they wanted to deny him they would tell him, I think you are fine and it will just take time, lately they take so much time but you can only wait, Inchallah you will hear good news!

This is not necessarily true.... My Fiance's interview was similar to this.... However they didn't look at our chat records or emails but they did take our photo album and told him they would call him. A few days later they called and asked him to come back... When he returned they gave back the album and gave him a "WHITE REFUSAL LETTER" The letter had the box for "OTHER" checked which stated that our application had been sent back but did not say why. They didn't tell him anything at the time of the interview. I later was told that our appllication needed further review but upon it being received back in the states our case was closed because the dates had expired and thatwe were more than welcome to reapply...... I am here in Morocco now going through the process to marry here so we can apply for the CR-1.... Insha'allah we will have better luck with this one......

I was told once that if they take your passport and ask you to come back in a few days then that is a pretty good indication that you are good.... But they don't always tell you everything upfront.....

I have seen it go both ways. Some get called back for a visa, some get called back for refusal. Hopefully it won't be too long a wait wondering. Keep us posted.
