Your mother cannot adjust status, as no-one can file for her right now. Once you are a US citizen, you can petition for her but for now, she will need to go home once her visa stay is up.

Your mother can't adjust status and get a green card unless there's an immigrant visa number immediately available for her. In order for an immigrant visa number to be available she either needs to qualify as an immediate relative of a US citizen, or someone would need to have filed an immigrant visa petition for her that's already been approved and the priority date is already current.

She would qualify as an immediate relative if she's got a spouse or any biological children who are US citizens.

A green card holder can only file an immigrant visa petition for their spouse or children, so you can't file any petition for her now. Unless some other family member has already filed an immigrant visa petition for her, the petition has been approved, and the priority date is current, she doesn't qualify based on any petition.

Unless there's a family relationship or a petition you haven't told us about, she needs to leave the US before her authorized stay has expired. She can't get a green card yet.
