They don't even think of trying to push that gay ####### up here in Alaska and for good reason. California is becoming nothing more than a cesspool these days for the sick and degenerate.

They don't try that up in Alaska because outside the native residents, the poplulation of alaska is about as diverse as a daughters of the american revolution meeting.

My point is, is that most people keep their lives private and others do not.

If you've ever read anything I've said about the 'homosexual community' before, I've pointed out the fact that most people aren't like the "gay pride" idiots out there who get naked and romp around the town. I have said however that those are the people in the public eye and the ones that give 'normal' people a bad name.

You can keep on assuming and making yourself look like a fool though.

Well in that case, what about all of the people who give straight people a bad name? Like pretty much everyone who has ever appeared on a dating reality show, paraded around their sexuality, and just all around conducted themselves badly with a heterosexual endgame in mind?

Your point is ridiculous, as your points often are.

It's not a question of whether some people are flamboyant and others not (which is self evidently not delineated on sexually orientated lines just to clear that up), it's a question of whether or not gay people are discriminated against and, although this is shocking news to you Paul, they often are. No heterosexual has ever been harassed and humiliated, sacked, or beaten up by gangs of thugs simply for being heterosexual. Homosexuals have been, often. Homosexuals are not left to live their lives without interference no matter how 'private or normal they try to be and those who fight for their rights are not 'gay pride idiots'; some perverse set of gays who give proper gays a bad name and such suggestions are at best ignorance and at worst badly disguised homophobia.

Refusing to use the spellchick!

I have put you on ignore. No really, I have, but you are still ruining my enjoyment of this site. .

Because he'll start thinking he has a sense of humor and we'll have to hear that stupid nonsense from him more often.

If that rationale were the basis of decisions, then we should all petition Ewok to have you permabanned. By allowing you to post, people might get the impression that you actually have something intelligent to say. The veterans here know better though, but we don't want to confuse the newbs.

Whether you like it or not "homosexual" does not equal "normal" by the way human beings (or any other mammal for that matter) were designed. They are always going to be outcasts by certain groups of people.

People are harassed/beaten up every day due to the clothes they wear, the way they look, etc... No one is left out of the game. The idea that homosexuals are beat up more than anyone else is idiotic and ignorant to say the least. When a group gets loud and puts themselves in the media, then it gives an appearance of being discriminated against more than others , but they aren't. People don't get hired every day because they have the wrong 'look.' People are treated differently every day by servers because of what they wear.

It's human nature. We as a species discriminate against that which we do not understand or do not like. Get over it. We can try and push for 'acceptance,' but it's a pipe dream to expect the world to accept everyone for who they are. When one group is accecpted, then another will become the black sheep. It's the way the world goes around and the way it always has. That's not to say it's not a good idea to try and accept everyone, but I'm saying it's ignorant as hell to think that your group is the only one.

As I've said, racial discrimination and behavior discrimination are VERY different.

You say lots of things Paul, but just because you say them doesn't make them true. That you can't imagine how or why homosexuals have been and are discriminated against specifically points to your ignorance, either willful or otherwise. Yeah, discrimination against homosexuals is simply a product of those flamboyant gays with a vivid imagination Fabulous

"Children would take lessons on issues affecting gays, lesbians, bisexuals and transgender people, with schools granted discretion about what age to start the lessons."

The potential scope of this is frightening to say the least... issues such as "how to practice safe homosexual/bisexual/transexual sex", "How did Rock Hudson stay in the closet so long/why", "The impact of coming out of the closet on Ellen's career", what other things could fall under the umbrella of the bolded line above?.. Are these things going to make us a better society? More competitive in the global marketplace? This is absurd!!! I am working on my sons class schedule for next year and they dont want him to take an extra math course as an elective, but a school district wants students to spend valuable class time studying the bolded line above? #######?

I don't care if some guy wants to blow his buddy, but his lifestyle should not be part of my childs education... Don't impart what you think are morals on my family... we actually have morals...

Spot on !!!

"I want to take this opportunity to mention how thankful I am for an Obama re-election. The choice was clear. We cannot live in a country that treats homosexuals and women as second class citizens. Homosexuals deserve all of the rights and benefits of marriage that heterosexuals receive. Women deserve to be treated with respect and their salaries should not depend on their gender, but their quality of work. I am also thankful that the great, progressive state of California once again voted for the correct President. America is moving forward, and the direction is a positive one."

Perhaps if we had let the jews continue to be the go to group to get hated on, none of this would ever have happened, eh Paul?

Anti-semitism never went away. If you think it's gone, you're not talking to the right people.

Why_Me,

Do you feel the same way? The level of vitriol in your posts directed at homosexuals would lead even the most casual observer to believe otherwise.
