So we just got our NOA2 and I'm finishing up all of the forms, but I had a question about the I-134 form...I have a co-sponsor who is self-employed and it says on the instructions to submit the last tax returns. But on the main review page for the embassy here on VJ it says to have the past 3 years. Is this true? Does anybody have experience with this? Also, I have to submit a I-134 form with my info too, right? Or just the co-sponsor's?

Thanks for any help!! :D

October 28 - NOA 1 received

Hey knw!!

Congratulation on your NOA2!!..

Yes, you do need somebody who has filed taces for at least the past 3 years and add those documents to your package. My dad could not co-sponsor my sister when she was applying for her husband bcs even if he was meeting the poverty criteria, he hadn't filed taxes for three years.

I don't have the answer s for the other questions, sorry.

Could luck and keep us updated about the Senegalese consulate process..

Best,

Thanks for the response! I actually emailed the embassy, figuring it would take them forever to get back to me, but they actually replied within 24 hours...impressive! They said I only need to send this last years tax information so I guess that's what I'm gonna do!
