I need some help and thought you guys could save me some time.

Before my fiancée enters with her K-1 visa, I'm traveling to her country and we'll return to the US together.

My question is, what options do I have to ensure we're on the same return flight together.

I ask because many of the online bookers don't have the options of adding a second passenger mid trip.

Any insight on how I should go about this?

Thank you!

Figure out what flight you are on, then book her on the same flight (use flight number and departure/arrival time etc to make sure it's the same). Then call the airline and ask to have your seats moved together. Voila!

AOS for my husband
8/17/10: INTERVIEW DAY (day 123) APPROVED!!

ROC:
5/23/12: Sent out package
2/06/13: APPROVED!

It really is that simple, isn't it?

First question => I'm assuming she already has the K-1.

If so it should be no problem; just check the airline's website or call an agent to see if you can choose seats online.

I don't see the point of "adding a second passenger" (later) unless the visa is not in hand yet.

If you're going to be there to attend the interview yourself (not permitted in Thailand, by the way),

after you've added the ticket if you can't choose seats together online, flight attendants may

help you out if the flight is not completely booked (you may give up a window seat in order

to sit together in the center, for example).

If you give them your romantic story they might be able to accommodate.
