How long does it take to NVC complete the cases?

Hi everyone!

How long does it take to NVC receive, complete and forward our case to consulate (Rio)? I'm so excited, my husband mailed the packages on friday within the option that arrives next day, so NVC will receive today. :jest: I can't wait to be in his arms!!! :wub: I'm counting down! I really appreciate your response!!! :blush:

Hi everyone!

How long does it take to NVC receive, complete and forward our case to consulate (Rio)? From when the NVC received my case and forwarded it to the consulate in Rio, it took about 3 months. That was without any RFE's. Also, for example your case must be completed after the second week of April and/or before the second week of May to have a interview date for the month of June. They typically give you about a months notice before your interview date.

Hi,

For me it took 2 months until the interview, but your are K3, right?

The people in the consulate are all very nice. So don't worry when you see is your interview date.
