yes & yes. what does that make the guy drinking the soap?...besides scared w/ freshly pissed pants?

MAde me wonder if the gunman recently acquired the gun, pulled the slide back on an empty mag and could not figure out how to release it.

When you have no education, crime is your only future.... yet you can't perform the basic operation of a hand gun: What hope is there for this guy?

When you have no education, crime is your only future....

There are a lot of jobs that don't require education...The $75,000 / year that the auto plant workers used to make comes to mind, but those have disappeared over the last decade....Skilled labor, handymen (and handy women!), hard labor, sales, etc.

this thug is like extra dumb.

He should've gotten his #### handed to him. Look how close he is to the "victim" who obviously has a nice size advantage on him, not to mention home turf on that wet floor. Everybody knows service-industry shoes are non-slip and Jordans have no hang time on the piso mojado.

so it's either an open bolt

Please name one pistol that fires from an open bolt.

It was an inside job.

The "gunman" keeps both hands in his pockets for most of the video and isn't impulsive at all. He's completely relaxed, almost as if he rehearsed what he'd say. Then look at the way the "victim" reacts to all the demands. He's not really scared or jumpy. He's more like, "Follow me over to the cash register" even motioning with his hand. Then he says, "put that unloaded gun away before you botch our fake robbery. I knew I should've hired a Mexican. You're lucky they'd only believe it was real if a black guy did it, otherwise my cousin would be here for sure."

"This door must remain locked at all times." Not just a good policy, it's the law!

good observations and detective work! But if it was an inside job the robber would have known that there was no safe. So there are 2 questions that need to be asked:

1) after clearing the registers and the workers wallet why did he stand around for a couple extra minutes trying to get the worker to open a safe?? On a good robbery you should be in and out within a few minutes. Every minute counts and he stood around for too long after getting the money. Maybe he was just stupid?

2) How do you explain him pointing a gun to his head multiple times and making him drink 2 bottles of soap? Was it just water?

edit: if it really was fake then they were pretty clever to make him drink soap and stand around for a couple minutes looking for a non-existent safe. That right there is enough to clear the worker of any wrong doing.

mac 10

i win!

Mac-10 is not a pistol. It's a submachine gun just like an Uzi or any other weapon designed to be fired using two hands.

And there you have it.

So you are saying that the idiot who didn't know his gun was not in the proper firing position and the clerk came up with a master plan to make it look like an armed robbery by having him look for a non-existent safe and having him drink two containers of soap (possibly cleaned out and only filled with water)?

All these extra steps and minutes of time to make the clerk look innocent?

The final question that proves this was not planned is why did the guy not have a mask on? He should have known there were cameras. Even if he didn't, such a "genius master plan" would have included something as simple as a mask to hide his identity, right?

EDIT: I think he does have a mask....But why the dog and pony show in front of the camera...He should have known precisely where it was and been avoiding it for his own safety...He seems to be right in front of it most of the time
