Good day to you all,

Plz i need your input on this, am a conditional permanent resident my husband is a citizen.

Just Last week my hauband whom has being out of job for over 3 yrs was bleesed with a great job and i too was blessed with a Job. though the sad thing is that my husband got this job in another state and i got mine in the state were we current leave but in another town.

our current home is own by us and my husband is paying mortgage on it, and is our parmenet home and permanet address.

we borh agree to take the jobs and move out and still keep out permanet home and address since my step son will be staying back and we will still be paying the mortgage and reciving all our mails there.

We intend to work and save money for a while and move back to our home to start a business.

Now do we need to apply for change of address since my step son stay back in the house and we are still paying mortgage on the house?

Thank you all for ur input

If you are maintaining it as a permanent residence, and will be getting mail there, you should not need to file for a change of address.

However, if you are changing your address on your drivers licences, (for example), then you will need to change it.

My Advice is usually based on "Worst Case Scenario" and what is written in the rules/laws/instructions. That is the way I roll... -Protect your Status - file before your I-94 expires.

thx alot for ur quick reply,

yea, i will be changing the address on my drivers license but my state ID will remain thesame (since am in same state) but we want to maintain the parmanent since we go back home once in a while and we will be celebrating all holidays home. do we still need to apply for change of address? and what is the effect of address change on removal of conditional?

thx a million
