Hey folks, has anyone ever seen or tasted anything that resembles smoked sausage (like Mattessons) from home? I asked my husband as he's tried them in the UK but claims they don't have it here. Anybody else out there know anything?

i know exactly what you mean! Mmmm! I've never come across anything as good though, sorry. I'd say the nearest thing would be a pre-packed Keilbasa sausage from the supermarket.

Whilst we're on the subject of British foods, I highly recommend Wegmans. They have a great aisle of UK foods! If there's one near you, you should definitely check it out!

IR-1 Timeline (DCF London)

15th Feb 2011 - Filed I-130 in London.

6th Apr 2011 - Sent letter requesting expedition of visa.

11th Apr 2011 - Received email approving request.

12th May 2011 - I-130 approved.

2nd June 2011 - Received case number via email. Booked medical.

3rd June 2011 - Sent forms DS-230, DS-2001 & cover letter today.

8th June 2011 - Medical Exam (£273.00 for medical & MMR/Tetanus injection)

11th July 2011 - Visa interview at 8am.

14th July 2011 - Visa in hand.

23rd July 2011 - Uniting my family today in San Antonio <3

11th Aug 2011 - Received 10yr Green Card in the mail

22nd Aug 2011 - Received SSN

04/22/11- AOS, EAD, AP sent today
04/28/11- AOS, EAD, AP Notice Date
05/04/11- Hard copy of NOA1 for AOS, EAD, AP
05/12/11- Early Biometric walk in(Scheduled for 05/31/2011)
05/12/11- I-485 Case Transferred to CSC
06/13/11- AOS approved, card production ordered
06/20/11- Green Card Recieved

ROC Timeline

04/25/13- ROC package sent

04/26/13- ROC pack delivered

Carolina Pride do a similar product. Mild Smoked Sausage. Not quite the same, but not too bad either! Look for a Yellow Box, you get about 5 good-sized links.
