I recieved my NO1 letter January 24, 2011. I know it is still very soon to start saying that this process takes a long time but I have been in this relationship for almost two years so maybe then you can understand. All the information you guys put on here is great. I will make sure to fill you in on updates in my case as soon as I get them. Good luck to everyone still waiting. Our time will come!

Hello and welcome :) My fiance also proposed in June 2010 (I can't believe it's been almost a year). We didn't send our petition in until February, but we have been together for 4 years, so I understand you on the waiting.

Good luck & may you have a speedy and uneventful journey.

Yea, you're fine. Unfortunately, the processing times have increased and it may take between 4-6 months just to have you peitition approved (NOA2). Just 1 year ago my finacee received her visa in a total of 6 months. Just continue to research on what steps are next, continue to gather evidence of an ongoing authentic relationship and try to be patient, although this process is stressful and frustrating. If you have any questions feel free to ask me.

Also, continue to check the timelines to get a sense of where your case is compared to other people.
