Ok, so i think i've made a mess of this!!

I was under the impression that a medical had to be booked before they would issue an interview date.

it seems that i am wrong & that they will not give an interview date until the medical results are received.

My question is - i have returned packet 3, but my medical is not until 6th May.

I know that my interview can't take place until after 6th May - BUT will they give me the date of my interview before the medical? eg your interview will be on 26th may.

I can't stand the thought of having to wait another month after my medical to get an interview!

I have no one to blame but myself for not researching properly..... but starting to get super stressed as i was hoping to move mid june - now that's looking impossible :'-(

I'm just looking to see if there is anyone out there who has had their interview letter before their medical was complete????

Or any helpful tips :)

Thanks

I have the same question and our medical is May 6 as well. We are sending our packet 3 on Tuesday and when I called the embassy, they said we would have to wait for an appointment letter with our interview date which wouldn't be sent until the embassy receives the medical results - about 4-6 weeks from now! And the interview would be another 4-6 weeks from the date they receive the medical results! Other VJ members timelines have been much shorter and I just want to know if there is a faster way to get an interview date or if we can find out sooner than waiting for a letter. I'm hoping some member or members will have some better news for us both...
