Hi,

I was just wondering what the current processing time from start to finish for applications submitted to USCIS in London. I saw on the US Embassy London website that they are now reviewing applications from November which would imply that they don't start to actually review them until 5 month after receipt. Is this the case or does it mean that it is currently taking 5 months ( +interview) to process straightforward applications. I've just submitted an i130 for my husband who is a UK citizen so it would be good to know what kind of wait we should be expecting.

Any tips would also be much appreciated!!

If you file with the USCIS in London, you should expect the whole process (I-130, medical, interview) to take 10 months. Currently, it looks like the I-130 takes around 5 months to be approved however this can change at any time. It's just a waiting game but make sure you have all your documents ready for the next stage.

Thanks so much! We're currently engaging with a lawyer who says that the processing time for US citizens living in the UK is between 6 and 7 months from the time that the i130 is filed until the interview. Has anyone recently gone through this process in London? If this is the case it sounds like turnaround time is closer to the 6/7 month mark rather than 10 months.

Any input from people who have recently gone through this in London, I'd love to hear your feedback!
