Joint sponsor

Hello! I am applying for adjustment of status. My husband is grad-student, so I will have his sister as joint sponsor. Does she need to fill G325(a)? Or anything else that I missed?

PS What is the difference between first joint sponsor and second joint sponsor?

Your husband fills out an I-864 as the main sponsor/petitioner. His sister will fill out her own separate I-864. If she is the only joint sponsor, then she will check that box (d). If there is more than one joint, then that is where the 1st and 2nd joint sponsors would come into play. It does not sound like this is the case for you though.

Hi everyone, I had the samen question...thank you for having that answered. I also wanted to know what else does the joint sponsor need to do? does she need to add me to her taxes as a dependent? Please...we could use all the help we can get. Thanks guys
