I have read that rescheduling an AOS interview can turn out bad, but if you had to change the date, what do you think are the best opinions? I know you can call the USCIS Customer Service Number, but I have heard that calling that number, even when they tell you the interview has been rescheduled, that information might not make it to your local USCIS office. I would like to call my local office but it seems that they hide local USCIS office phone numbers from the public. I'm starting to think that maybe I shouldn't even bother calling the USCIS Customer Service number but instead make an infopass appointment to my local office, at least that way it would be the local office getting the information directly from me. I really don't need people telling me it's a bad idea to reschedule an AOS interview date, as I know many people have said that already. But I have read stories of some successful rescheduling. I just want people's opinions if they think making an infopass appointment before the AOS interview date would be more successful then calling USCIS Customer Service. Thanks...

yeah, I googled my local USCIS office or ASC office but can't find it anywhere. I was going to ask if there was any ASC office other than the 480 mile drive that they have chosen for me for BIOMETRICS. but no luck at all. And I called the 1-800 number but they won't give any straight answer. When I arrived there, the lady doing my fingerprint and photo said : "Didn't you go to Grand Junction which is like 140 miles away from your City?" Ugggg!! What a waste of my time. So good luck on that! :D

Don't create more mistakes, just do it and somehow paths become more clearer...

Yeah, we had to to drive 274 miles to go to our local office for my husband's biometrics, we made a two day trip out of it. I am considering driving all day long on one of my days off if it means we wouldn't end up having a denial notice for missing an interview date because calling the USCIS customer service sounds like for some reason they can't even get the information to your USCIS office of a rescheduled interview. I'm just not sure what to do, I guess I can do both... Unfortunately I can't do anything about it now since I assume USCIS is closed on Sunday, have to wait until Monday...
